LA absolutely loves his Five Little Monkey Jumping on the Bed book. He has recently learned motions that go along with it as well. Including "bumped his head." Watch...

LA picks out his '07 pumpkin
Amos was able to take yesterday off of work and we got to take LA down to Brown County to pick out his pumpkin for the year with Papa and Nana.

We went to the same place as we did last year. Kelps Pumpkin Patch alongside IN-46 just east of the state park.

"So many! Which one do I pick?"

"Um, this one."

Papa gave LA a few rides around the property.

And, LA and "Dada" got to play on a tractor before we headed west to take Crystal's parents to Oliver Winery.

We didn't get any photos inside the winery, but if you haven't been to Oliver, you're doing yourself a disservice. Amos and Crystal have been before and done the whole deal, tasting, tour, picnic, etc. It's a fantastic time. And, Amos can vouge for the quality of the wine especially after just having been in Sonoma for a wine tour. For the price, it's the best around!

LA's afternoon ended with getting to feed the mammoth-sized "fsh" (as he calls them) at the pond before we headed back to the big city. The little man was bushed after a long active autumn afternoon.

We didn't get a whole lot of pics from the party. But, here are a couple of shots that Amos's co-worker took. (Thanks, Nathan!) We had a lot of fun at the annual Season Ender Bender at the Forbes residence. Thanks Kevin and Ruthie!
Landon enjoyed playing in the grass. And check out his belly!!!:)
Check out camo baby having fun w/his turtle car in the yard. It's his favorite toy of the week.

Sharing music is neat...

A few weeks back, we had the chance to download the Robbie Seay Band's latest album, Give Yourself Away, via Relevant Magazine dot com for free. You might have gotten an email from Amos about it. Anyway, below was an email Amos received today that we wanted to share with you because of the music gift RSB shared with us...
----------------------------------------
Friends,
Thank you so much for downloading our new album Give Yourself Away on relevantmagazine.com. I'm writing because you owe me $13.99. Kidding..kidding! We were really excited to give the album away to you guys, hoping that for many of you, this became an introduction to Robbie Seay Band. Welcome to the family! We hope you've enjoyed and connected with the new music. We are truly excited about this album and want to invite you to help us share it with folks across the country.
Here's how you can help:
1. GIVE THE MUSIC AWAY! After you have your own copy, consider gifting the album to someone on iTunes -- Give Yourself Away is only $7.99 and includes a bonus track with Shane and Shane. If you prefer a hard copy, you can order the cd directly from robbieseayband.com.
2. TELL SOMEONE! RSB is a word of mouth band. Our music has always been shared rather than advertised. We hope you'll play a role in that. Write a blog, email your address book, tell your church or organization, etc.. We're not a big, flashy, take a bunch of ads out, type of band. If you like the music, tell someone. Simple enough.
3. COME SEE RSB LIVE!We'll be traveling the country over the next year and we'd love to have you join us. Check out the website or myspace for tour dates and come say hello. Also, our pal Brandon Heath is on the road with us and you don't want to miss him! He's fantastic.
Thanks again for your time and support of the music.
Blessings
Robbie

A night out with the Champion!
Last Tuesday night was the IndyCar Championship Banquet at Pagoda Plaza at IMS. We went and had a great time!

Amos and I danced, danced, danced! Yeah right, my hubby doesn't dance. But I sure did!

Landon stayed with Nana for the evening

We had a lot of fun. It was a late night following with a long day.

Dario Franchitti won the Indy 500 this year and the IndyCar Championship.

When accepting the Champ Cup, Dario's teammates (Tony Kanaan, Danica Patrick and Marco Andretti) drenched him with champagne.
Yes, that is a huge ice sculpture! It was done by two guys in crazy looking white suits with ice saws over the course of like an hour. It was amazing.
Dario' s car hanging from the ceiling.
IndyCar knows how to throw a party. There were lots of male models (and girls, but that's more expected and not as funny).

going up
A short clip of Landon climbing the steps at Papa and Nana's yesterday. He climbed all the way up twice, but the video only shows him taking a few steps. Note how he calls out each step.
At the top...off to the toys in the loft!!...

LA turned 1!
Our little baby is now 1! We had a Curious George party for LA August 10th.
How cute are they?
LA playing with his friends in his tug boat/play pen.
So, the theme was Curious George and our sweet friend Debbie Musgrave made these incredible monkey cakes for the party. If you look closely you can see she even made LA his own little cup cake. I LOVED the cakes and they were extra yummy!! Thanks, Debbie!!!
He is kind of eating it. It was the 1st time for sweets. And he hasn't had them since and he is doing just fine!
And now he has enjoyed every last piece of his cupcake. His little girlfriends are about to turn 1 as well. Girls your time is coming!

Introducing Adam and Elisha Haffner
We got back late Tuesday night from a absolutely beautiful weekend in California celebrating the marriage of Adam and Elisha with a ton of friends and family that made the journey. Below are only a few pics from the weekend. I'm sure we'll be posting more pics as Jen Stump gets them all editted and sent out.

The Groom awaiting his bride.

Bam! Flat gorgeous Bride walking the isle with her Dad, Jim. He was actually happier than he looks in this photo.

At the altar being wed by David Hall (who hails from Agape Ministries. Go MUNCIE!)

The Bridesmaids, Jami Cecil (our cutie cousin) and Rachel Kohl (Elisha's big sis)

The whole Haffner clan...well, the whole clan that was there anyway.

Too bad they couldn't have gotten married somewhere scenic. Yeah, right! Elisha's Uncle Ron and Aunt Mary have a stunning property nestled into the hillside in Pauma Valley, CA...orange grove, lemons and avocado trees included. You guys throw one heck of a party!

Those flowers were actually white until they walked over to them. They only turn pink when they're surrounded by love.

The grand reception entrance.

Note, no shoes

Is a good photo really worth the near death experience of standing atop a small brick wall while dipping your new wife over the canyon a few inches away? See photo above for affirmation.

Crystal and Landon celebrate Elisha's entrance into the family by looking completely adorable! Crystal did the girl's makeup too.

We got a chance to visit with our cousins from Colorado while out west. We miss you Jennifer and Kim! (Kim is 7 months pregnant with her and Mike's first...a son named Josiah)

Landon got to meet his cousin Dylan from Idaho for the first time and loved him from moment number one. LA has never taken to anyone so quickly. We're pretty sure Dylan loved the reception. You're such a good cousin to Landon, Dylan. We hope to see you again soon.

Cecil played some the intro, eucharist and exit acoustic musical numbers. Awesome stuff!
All smiles and headed to Mexico to honeymoon it up!
