I have always wanted a grandma around to crochet me blankets, slippers, berets, scarves and gloves. Have you ever started a project and never finished? Me too. I have started so many projects thinking this is the year I am going to learn to crochet a scarf and it has never happened. Thankfully, I have come across someone amazing!

I love homemade crochet/knitted items. It's hard for me to choose a favourite. I love all the berets as I've loved them ever since I was a kid. But, the Inky Scarfling is so delicate and pretty, I have to pick it as #1. I do hope I win the slippers. :)

Oh my teenage daughter loves to wear fingerless gloves, so those are perfect! My daughter can crochet a little better than I can and I never got past making a chain. Very sad since my great grandmother made us a lot of throws that we use in our home to this day.
