4th of July fun!

The family (my Mom and Dad, brother Frankie and his fiance Ruby with my little nephew Raymond and Austin)!!

Playing on the floor and snuggling. We have a very snuggly baby!

Watching Chloe act crazy!

Sitting outside grilling with Papa.

Chloe loves when I take her picture.

We went out on my parents boat and Landon was a little sleepy.

He is ready to fish....watch out!

How sweet is this picture?

Playing in the front of the boat with Nana. She was a real trooper that day.....she let all of us fish while she played with Landon. Thanks Mom!

So Dad caught such a huge fish! ha!

And then I caught another big one! We had such a great time!!

Amos' first Father's Day!

One proud Daddy. They are so darn cute!!! What a blessing it is to call you Dad, says Landon.

Landon playing on the floor at Grandpa and Grandma's house.

One tired boy snuggling with his Daddy after a long day.

He is so cute!

Amos, his Dad (Grandpa) , Uncle O and Landon swinging.

We started the day with breakfast wishing my Dad a Happy Father's day and then ended up in Muncie with Amos' family. We had a fun day celebrating Dads.

One proud Papa!!!!!!!!

Horrible fire at The Simple Way

For those of you familiar with Shane Claiborne and The Simple Way, their neighborhood in Philadelphia was almost completely engulfed in a fire yesterday. No lives were taken, but they lost most everything else other than the most important thing -- their relationships. If you feel compelled to offer a donation, go to thesimpleway.org to learn more. If you aren't familiar with The Simple Way or Shane's work, please visit the website. We also strongly recommend you pick up a copy of Irresistible Revolution. It's one of Amos's favorite books.

LA plays with his cute girlfriends

Jenni brought the girls over for a visit this afternoon.

ok.....this is a super woman if you haven't seen one before. Look at her....that takes some serious talent and on top of being talented, she looks fabulous!

toys, toys and more toys. Thank goodness for a garage sale my Mom and I found this past weekend. I get so excited when I am driving, see a garage sale sign, and find such great stuff for a quarter!

LA is chillin' and checking out the hotties across the way!

A night with our little newphew Raymond

So, the night began at 7:30PM with Daddy putting Landon to sleep and
then himself!

And then we find out Ruby (sister-in-law) is very sick and needs to go to the emergency room, so we were able to watch little Raymond through the morning hours. He is 6 days old and such a cutie. Ruby is doing better...it might be the flu. Yuck and no fun after birthing a child!

another sweet pic of the little guy sleeping.

Grandma got me a fun shirt for Christmas that I am finally able to wear.
Debbie- Do you reconize the shirt? Thanks!

Our sweet little nephew Raymond arrives!

On Wednesday morning, June 6 (which makes like 8 birthdays/anniversarys in our family on the 6th of some month) Crystal's brother Frankie and his fiance Ruby welcomed their sweet little healthy baby boy into the world.

Before Raymond was ushered in. We think Frankie really needs a nap in this shot. And, some pain medication. A few hours before Ruby went into labor, Frankie was called in some meds for some major dental pain. What a night for him!

A proud Mom and her son

Nana and grandson Raymond

...the little man himself! Check out those squishy cheeks!

A day of nannying

Aiden and Grant love to play in Chloe's crate. But, like anything fun, it stops being fun after a bit, so one must forge ahead...

...into the creek!

jump!

Crystal and Landon look on with amazement

...as does Chloe, only that's not really much of an amazed sort of pose

Landon continues to wonder what the boys will do next

After being alerted (Amos told them) that the crossing under the road was actually a dragon's cave, the boys' cruiousity began to spin

and there was only one thing left to do...

...go into the cave and meet the dragon face to face!

halfway there

"Yep, the ceiling is still stable."

almost through!...

...the knights have saved the day! There was no dragon today. It was decided that the dragon was out for lunch...at Taco Bell...because dragons like burritos!

LA's 9mos photo shoot

Crystal took LA to get his 9-month-old pictures earlier this week. He had a blast! And, so did Crystal who allowed the photographer to use props that wouldn't have been allowed had Daddy been around! :)

Who puts their baby in a mixing bowl!? Now, propped against a wild boar's leg or sitting on a keg of beer, maybe.

Visiting Daddy at the track

Amos has been spending lots of time at the track, so we visited him on Community Day!

My Dad was kind enough to come and help me out
with the boys.

How cute are they?

Landon just took it all in.

My Dad would love to drive this car!

Grant and Aidan enjoyed all the blow-up slides and the free toys. If you have kids, you should check out Community day next year. It really wasn't super busy and there is so much to do. We didn't even have time to get our faces painted or visit the Lego building area. It was a lot of fun!
